Rye Yacht Club Facilities

The Rye Yacht Club was granted permanent occupancy of its present site in November 1981. The architect designed Clubhouse was officially opened in March 1985.

Facilities in the building include:

• Race control room on third level
• Second level lounge with large open viewing deck
• Ground level multi purpose area for boat storage and entertaining
• Canteen and first aid room
• Paved barbeque area overlooking the lawns, beach and Bay
• Dressing rooms, showers and toilets.

The fenced and fully grassed yard of the Club includes washing, rigging and storage areas for boats, and children's play area. There's yet another large grassy rigging area on the beach in front of the Club.
